Parish Calendars and Christmas Cards Available
My Dear Parishioners,
Our 2024 Parish calendars are available at the Church exits, please take one home with you. The beautiful calendars are gifts from the Louis Swift Plunkett Funeral home in Hatboro. Thank you to Mr. Jeff Plunkett for this annual gift. If you know a parishioner who is not able to get to church, please consider bringing them a calendar.
This year we will celebrate Mass on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2023. Thanksgiving Day Mass will be at 9:00 a.m. There will be only one Mass offered on that day. We will be doing the traditional blessing of bread at this Mass and then distributing it after Mass to be taken to your Thanksgiving Day tables.
Parish Christmas cards are available after the Sunday Masses, or at the rectory and school offices. They are 25 cards for $15.00. The cards have the beautiful image of the Holy Family taken from our stained glass window of the Nativity.
Looking forward to Christmas, this year will be challenging. Sunday, Dec. 24th during the day we will celebrate our usual Sunday schedule for the 4th Sunday of Advent. Then Sunday afternoon and evening we will begin our Christmas Vigil celebrations. The Christmas Vigil Masses will be at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. and also 12:00 Midnight. Monday Dec. 25 Masses will be at 7:30, 9:30, and 11:30 a.m. If you go to Sunday Morning Mass and then to a Christmas Vigil Mass that same day, you are permitted to receive Holy Communion at both celebrations. Unfortunately going to just the Vigil Mass on Sunday does not fulfill the regular obligation for the 4th Sunday of Advent. If coming to church twice on Sunday is too challenging, I recommend either going to the Vigil for Sunday (Saturday at 5:00) or coming to one of our Christmas Day Masses.
St. Joseph / St. Robert School is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year. Preference is given to students who are parishioners of either parishes. Once our parishioners have had ample opportunity, we will consider taking in other students. If you would like to apply, please call the school or you can apply online.
