New Mass Schedule Announced

My Dear Parishioners,

After receiving input from parishioners about the proposed NEW MASS SCHEDULE, I have decided to make the changes as proposed effective starting on the weekend of October 3-4, 2020.  Starting on Saturday October 3 (3 weeks from now) our schedule will be, Daily Mass (Mon-Sat) 8:00 a.m., Confessions on Saturday from 3:30-4:30 p.m., Vigil Mass at 5:00 p.m., Sunday Masses at 7:30, 9:30, and 11:30 a.m. 

I apologize to any who may be disappointed by the change in Mass times.  Unfortunately, with all the changes that the coronavirus brings, we had to make significant adjustments.  Hopefully, once things get back to some semblance of normal, our numbers will swell so much that we will have to go back to 4 Sunday Masses.

We will begin the process of updating our Mass Book.  Where possible, we will try to move a previously scheduled Announced Mass Intention to the nearest available NEW time slot (e.g. Sat @ 5:30 will become Sat @ 5:00).  Obviously in some cases we will have to move a Mass to another Sunday all together.  If you are interested in finding out where a particular Mass Intention was moved, you can call the rectory.  Please know that ALL Mass Intentions will be fulfilled.

If you know someone who is considering joining the Catholic Faith, or someone who maybe simply needs to be asked, now is the time.  We are holding our special Night of Inquiry on Wednesday, September 30th at 7:00 p.m. in classroom 18.  No commitment is necessary; it is just to find out what is involved.  Also we are in real need of adults who are interested in our faith and willing to become members of our Team.  The lessons are taught by DVD, but we need adults who can facilitate and lead a dialogue about the faith.  You don’t need to be a professional speaker or teacher, but just someone who is in love with our faith and willing to share that with others. Many times, the leaders tell me that they receive just as much from the work as the candidates and catechumens. Please contact me if interested.
